Air Miles
Today I finally got myself an Air Miles Mastercard. I had been thinking about it over the summer, but at the time was torn between trying to focus on air miles or aeroplan, and in the end gave up on trying to decide. In the end, it makes sense for me to hop on the airmiles bandwagon and get the card while I’m still a student and it’s easy. I seem to be flying more with WestJet than with Air Canada anyways.
On BMOs website they have a neat calculator that tells you how many miles you will get a year, depending on how much you charge on your card per month. (Under point 1, “See what you can earn”). It looks like it will take me a while to fly somewhere.
I chose the sunflower card. I’m going to miss the UofC image on my current card!

Good call. I definitely recommend the Airmiles over the Aeroplan. I’ve had both, and I find general acceptance of Airmiles cards is much more prominent (in Canada, at least)
