Lunar Eclipse

Yesterday, between work and swing, I managed to watch the Lunar Eclipse.  I found a perfect seat next to carpenters hall at the top of a t-intersection.  Right down the middle of road, and up, was the moon.  Perfectly centered.

I sat there by myself for about 30 min before other dancers joined me.  It was strange, watching the rush of traffic and people going past me, while watching nature move slowly above.   Some people would look over at me, and then at the moon, and they’d understand.  Other people would walk past me as quickly as possible while avoiding eye contact, as though they were afraid I would ask for their spare change.

All in all the consensus was that the eclipse was a bit boring.  The moon didn’t turn as orange as many expected, and the whole event was very slow.  But the time reflecting on my busy life while watching nature was definitely well spent.
