DIY Day
It’s not DIY day because I actually created anything, but rather it’s because I spent my day surfing through a lot of blogs which focus on DIY and art. It has been inspiring, and I get this feeling I’m going to spend my entire June creating things.
First of all, the “Howdy” text is from Spell with Flickr, a very ugly website with fun results. I also found other insert text type sites that might make an appearance at a later date.
I have mostly gone through two blogs and all of their associated links; Design*Sponge and How About Orange… Therefore, I have an incredibly long email to myself of links I’d like to return to. I almost feel like I need my own home before I can do many of these things though, because my bedroom is running out of space and who knows what my decorating style will be. Here’s a few things that caught my eye:
- Thumbtacks
- One of these three bags
- Painted Fabric Silhouette
- Mini Notebook
- Etched Glass (probably not a ship…)
I’m trying to go for simple, and accomplished in one sitting type projects. But not yet, I still have studying to do! Strangely enough, I didn’t actually browse through ‘the’ DIY site. Perhaps during my next day of procrastination.
