Tuxedo’d Penguin
A week ago I went to Bee Kingdom‘s Spring Open House where I had the opportunity to peruse their glass art and watch a demonstration of their skills in action. The demo piece quickly went from being a classy blue and green milk creamer to this hilarious tacky atrocity. I’m not really sure how it happened. It began with Tim wanting to demo his new leaf press. Somehow penguins came into the conversation, followed by bowties and tuxedos. This ruffled tuxedo wearing penguin, of sorts, was the result of the small audiences’ laughter and encouragement.
I loved it, and decided it needed to become a part of my collection of memories in my room. I guess I’m a bit sentimental like that. And I figure it’ll be a great conversation piece. Plus it makes me giggle.
