Nice
Besides being quite touristy, Nice seems like a pretty good place. Great coastline, which sadly I was only able to enjoy for one afternoon. Apparently it’s now the rainy season, and the rain is intruding upon my “lay at the beach” time. I have also met great people here, some of whom I will likely see again in Canada. Besides enjoying their company, they have also helped me see the city at night. I’m still not entirely comfortable being out after dark on my own, and therefore don’t do it very often, so it’s been nice having friends. I feel like I’m doing a much better job of meeting people in France than I did in England, and that makes me happy.
Tomorrow I’m going on a day trip to Cannes, and the day after I will spend 8.5 hours on a train to get to Bordeaux. Nearing the end, with only 12 days left!
