Bread
Today I assisted in the creation of a video on the process of making bread. It turned out to be a really interesting day, as it was held in a large “Bread Plant” in Calgary. There’s something fascinating about watching high tech machines create a staple food. What intrigued me the most, was how essential humans still are in this mostly automated process. At every stage people were kept busy due to the machines not functioning as effectively or perfectly as we imagine. All in all, it was a nice change from sitting in an office. Sadly, no free samples.
