Collected Memories
Packing has been wearing me out, as I’m trying to do more than just throw my belongings into boxes, I’m also trying to sort them as I go. Being in the same bedroom for 17 years means a lot of collected things, and I am surprised at how much I’ve managed to cram into the nooks and crannies of one room. I am now almost done, as clothing, wall decor, and daily toiletries are all that remain. I’m really looking forward to our new space. 4 sleeps!
My parents seem to think that the growing pile of still open boxes in the living room “isn’t that bad”, but I think it’s ridiculous. Where did everything come from?
When I moved out of my parents’ house, I had 4 boxes and a suitcase. I left all the artifacts of Megan behind. 7 years later, moving out of my house…I have 30 boxes. Where does it all come from?!
Christmas. Birthdays. Selfish Shopping Sprees. etc. etc.
