Enter Real World
After a whirlwind weekend of moving, watching couches fly off trucks and onto the road, and hitting my head on every possible corner in the house, I am settled and happy in my new place. To be fair, it generally went very smoothly and I can’t thank my parents, and two burly men, enough for all their help. Thank you! Everything was unpacked by Sunday, and yesterday morning was spent getting all the details of car ownership worked out. Registration, insurance, new driver’s license, new license plate, etc. I came out of the morning significantly poorer. Sigh.
But now I am an adult, with real bills to pay, and cleaning and grocery shopping to do.
First adult lesson:
Righty tighty, lefty loosey.
I spent way too long trying to loosen the screw by turning it the wrong way…
