Internet Joy
I felt very handy yesterday, as I managed to get my TV cables set up for viewing things off my computer, and I set up the wireless internet in my house with no problems. I’ve decided to name our wireless “Joy”. It has been our ongoing joke that our house is the home of happiness and love, and I felt ‘happiness’ and ‘love’ were perhaps a little too fluffy for an internet name, and that joy was a fun compromise.
Basically, this means two exciting things:

After Gary bought the $250 router (gasp), I came home to find our network named Valhalla.
He was all, “Isn’t that cool?”
And I was like, “uh, dude, you know that’s like, h*ll for Vikings, right?”
And he responded with, “Well, uh…our neighbours’ is called ‘Kate Beckinsale is so fine’- would you have preferred that?”
Two Hundred And Fifty Dollars?! Ouch…
I’ve two routers in my life, “Lovejoy” and “Jesus!”. Strange coincidence that one of them shares a similar name to yours.
