Moccasins
March is Native Awareness Month at SAMRC, and Wednesday was the opening ceremony which included some traditional Native dances. I took the opportunity to play with my camera, and it was fun taking photos of something other than my household plants. I enjoyed the contrast of watching traditional dances in the afternoon, followed by contemporary music in the evening by Ghostkeeper and Lucie Idlout.
I loved this Jingle dress dancer’s moccasins, with their intricate and colourful design.
