Dance?
Continuing with the pink theme, we also created these dance buttons. A collaborative effort with Robert, it included his text and my button making skills (and help from Janine at Uppercase, as she let me use her button machine – thank you!) There is something surprisingly satisfying about encasing images/words in plastic button form, and I really enjoyed pressing these together. With 6 different phrases, and their extreme visibility, these buttons were a hit at Art Central’s First Thursday on March 5th. I’m glad they are going to have a revival tonight at PLEX. Let the pink, and the swing dancing, begin!
