Purse Creation

I had a sudden flurry of creativity last weekend and finally sewed this purse together. I had purchased the fabric and cut out all the pieces over Christmas, and they had been waiting for me to return. It turned out to be much larger than I had expected, and I should’ve put interfacing on the top piece of leather but didn’t so it’s not quite perfect. Still quite fun, it’s likely to get a lot of use over the summer.

    This fabric was from Fabricland on Southland Drive & Elbow. I’ve also purchased some neat patterns from My Sewing Room on MacLeod and Heritage, but these fabrics are meant for quilters so they’re thin and cotton and often not ideal. Interfacing has become my friend…
