What I know now…
Last October I went to a University of Calgary Alumni event at the Raw Bar in Hotel Arts. At the time I was unemployed, so I figured maybe this would be a great networking event. As it turns out, most of the other people at the event were my age, and the networking led to nothing exciting. But the bar was cool and it was a fairly enjoyable couple of hours.
Fast forward to today. I was googling some people and decided to google myself as well, out of curiousity. Scrolling through the usual work, twitter, and blog links, I then came across this, an interview from that random Alumni Event. First of all, I’m surprised they used my cheesy response, and second of all, I’m surprised I said that cheesy response to begin with!
So, for posterity sake, here are my views on what UofC students should know before they graduate.
Also, in case you’re curious, I ran the 4km Sun Run in 1999 in 27:32 minutes. And I did the 5km Stampede Run Off in 1999 in 31:17. Yes, I know, I was curious too. Thank you google!
