dad’s birthday
In celebration of my Dad’s birthday, and in celebration of summer, last Saturday was spent hiking up Moose Mountain near Bragg Creek. The weather was beautiful, the company enjoyable, and the view at the top was worth it. Sadly, there was a bit of an adventure on the way down. Our fellow hiker and dog companion Lola injured her feet on the rocks resulting in some sock and mitt booties, and a well crafted stretcher for the rocky portion of the decline. Lola is doing much better after some well deserved rest, and Dad’s birthday will definitely be memorable.
