Today is election day in the City of Calgary….

The elections have been occupying all my free moments, and I am so excited to see Calgarians engaged and interested. The ongoing #yycvote conversation on Twitter has been fascinating, and it’s been great to watch videos of the mayoral forums from the comfort of my home. Social media has definitely made this election significantly more accessible than previous elections (granted, I haven’t been able to vote for many elections so far, but this one has captured my attention much more than others).
Today is going to be an amazing day. Whether my chosen candidates win or lose, the conversations that these elections have sparked will have made it worth it.
