Somehow I didn’t take any photos, perhaps due to the fact that we had a photo booth set up and I was busy enjoying the success of our event.  But, in keeping with photo tradition, I will instead insert our poster designed by the lovely Janet I.  Merci!

There was a moment in the afternoon where the sky was so moody and dark and awesome that we feared a thunderstorm. I found myself wishing I had brought my other lens, as the 60mm just couldn’t capture the beauty of it.  Thankfully, the storm blew right over us without a drop of precipitation.

She discovered them while touring through Australia, and immediately thought of me and my swing dancing. After a couple of emailed photos confirming that I was equally as in love with them, she purchased the correct size and brought them home. They need a little more wearing in before I can dance a full night in the them, but I wore them to work one day and received so many compliments that I swear my head grew 3 sizes larger.  Thanks Mom, for improving my self-esteem and making me look hot!

Our routine for the Short & Sweet Competition at Lindybout III. Performed to a cut and spliced version of “8, 9 & 10″ by Slim and Slam.  As mentioned in the previous post, we won this competition and were given “Champion” buttons!
