My hair dryer crapped out on me mid-drying a few days ago. It was a bit of an event as it just, stopped. My brother flipped the breaker just in case it wasn’t the dryers fault, but in the end it was determined that the dryer was ready to move on to the world of the garbage dump. After spending some days forgetting that my dryer didn’t work and walking over to my mom’s bathroom to use hers, I decided I should buy a new one. I had been thinking about buying a travel dryer anyways for my upcoming trip. I didn’t want to do too much searching, and the only travel sized dryer I came across easily was called the “Bugg Series Travel Dryer”. Bright red, and with a ladybug on it. For scale – the top is just shorter than the length of my hand. It also comes with a 6 foot long power cord which seems a bit ridiculous considering how little the thing is, but knowing me it’ll come in handy.

Well, it’s cute, but apparently made for adults? I’m trying to decide what marketing company decided that a “Cute as a bug…” hair dryer was a good idea? It came in a box made to look like grass with flowers growing around it. Tacky? Yes. Cute? Yes.

It made me giggle, and I didn’t feel like searching more, so I am now the proud owner of a Bugg Travel Dryer. The test will be tomorrow to see how it works…
