In celebration we consumed a cocktail and some delicious meals from Bistro Brava, a restaurant I had not been to before but thoroughly enjoyed.  For dessert I ordered the Tirimisu, which was much larger than I had expected.  I probably should’ve taken a picture of that or of Lisa’s cake instead of this lemon, but I was too busy singing a birthday song out of tune and then savouring every bite.

I’m struggling to remember everyone’s names and rediscover my groove within the office.  Classes start tomorrow for the students, and I’m hoping that means I’ll get to meet some of the students I’ll be working with.

This photo received a compliment on its ‘bokeh‘.  Such a cool word, and the effect fascinates me.
