Just yesterday I was having a conversation about how much I love writing To-Do Lists. I have them scattered everywhere. Usually three various versions inside my agenda on either sticky notes or cue cards, two on my whiteboard next to my desk, and the random ones I discover in the oddest places. I find them to be helpful in clearing out my thoughts, and also a great distraction from actually doing the things ‘on’ the list.

Today I’ve been trying to gather up the motivation to write a 10 page essay and study for an exam, both due/happening tomorrow. Instead I went and cruised McNally Robinson and discovered a neat looking book entitled “To-Do List: From Buying Milk to Finding a Soul Mate, What Our Lists Reveal About Us“. I decided the book looked awesome and that the $18.99 + tax was a reasonable amount to spend. That is, until I was next in line at the cash register, when I noticed a line: based off of a successful blog of the same name, at todolistblog.blogspot.com. FREE! came into my mind and I quickly put the book down and walked out the door. Sadly, the blog isn’t nearly as pretty and fun as the book looked and I’m a bit disappointed.

Can’t decide whether I should go back and buy the book, or just save my money.

Look how pretty it is! Tempting…
